The WISP Manifesto

A public mandate · Berlin · 2026 — open for signature

The market knows everything about you — except what matters.

It knows what you bought, where you’ve been, what you clicked. It doesn’t know why. It can’t tell “loved it, more please” from “never again.”

So you keep seeing ads for the hotel you couldn’t wait to escape — and for the skates you already own. Relevance was never the point. Budget was.

That’s targeting: a model of you exists, and it works hard — for the seller.

We create all the value: our purchases, our choices, our attention. Others own the profile, decide what it means, and sell access to us. This is digital feudalism. We work the land; they own it.

The fix isn’t more data. It’s changing who your model works for. The market already has the facts — what and when. But the “why” — loved it or hated it, repeat or run — is something you’ll only ever tell someone on your side. Your agent. Not an ad network.

That’s what an agent on your side is for: to hold your “why” — and to use it for you, not on you.

We believe in:

  1. Representation over targeting.
  2. Personal control over platform ownership.
  3. Inspectable systems over opaque interpretation.
  4. Systems that support human judgment — not replace it.
  5. Verifiable relevance over paid influence.
  6. The freedom to leave — and take your memory with you.
  7. Agents accountable to people — not to platforms or advertisers.

WISP is our attempt to turn these principles into a working system. An agent that stands between you and the market: it remembers what you’ve entrusted to it, filters what you’re being bombarded with, and answers only to you.

By signing this manifesto, we affirm that the current platform model is not enough. People need control not only over their data, but over the systems that interpret it, construct their digital image, and act on their behalf.

These principles must be translated into a working system and tested openly with its future users. People must have the right to criticize it, change it, and hold it to its stated boundaries.

This signature is not an unconditional endorsement of a company or a product that does not yet exist. It is a public mandate for a new direction: away from a world where people are targets of influence, toward a world where people have agency in their digital lives.

We want a market where people are represented, not targeted.

We want an agent on people’s side.

The contract · Der Vertrag

Three things we don’t negotiate.

Not marketing claims — hard product boundaries. What breaks them does not ship.

§1

The core recommendation is never for sale.

No restaurant, brand, or platform can buy its way into the core of choice. If a paid option ever exists, it sits outside the core — clearly marked.

§2

Your data stays yours.

Nothing is sold. Local-first storage with encrypted sync — exportable and deletable, so you can leave with everything. Beyond the core function, nothing happens without your explicit, revocable consent.

§3

No fit means no recommendation.

If nothing genuinely matches your moment, WISP says so — instead of forcing a choice just to show you something.

How we keep these promises, in the architecture. See the data layer →

We’re not just building this for you.
We’re building it with you.

The closed Berlin pilot starts when real people say “yes, this should exist” — an agent on the user’s side, and a digital market where the value people create belongs to them.
